(Fuck this shit Fuck it Goddamnit) Got the vision but can't shake the coil Film the revolt but air the rerun Cauterize the burn but leave the tumor Growing and growing and growing Bang my head against the wall It's all I can do Bang my head against the wall It's all I can do It's all I can do The rush of blood is like a shot in the arm A catalyst for excision of pain After a while it all goes numb and you're Bleeding and bleeding and bleeding (Screams) Piece together the shattered mirror The shards of glass won't fit together So realize with a sinking feeling You'll never see your reflection Again

All our yesterdays like ashes All our dreams in water washes Away into the winding stream Weaving winding byzantine Straight to the sea of desire Where dreams plot and where they conspire Kill the living steal their flesh To the land of nod and of death The world owes me something (The world owes me something) The world owes me something (The world owes me something) The world owes me something (The world owes me something) But I don't know what it is (But I don't know what it is) One day one day we all will die We had a fountain but they stripped it dry And I feel a ripple in time itself Stop the travesty of souls to sell Debt collectors armed to the teeth Serve the papers and they kill the thief Anthill skyline blocks the sun Like a growing carcinogen The world owes me something (The world owes me something) The world owes me something (The world owes me something) The world owes me something (The world owes me something) But I don't know what it is (But I don't know what it is) They won't rest until everything is commodified Cheapened deadened surveilled and privatized Prisoners of automated paralysis Humanity consumed by the sheer force of our artifice There's nowhere to hide in the desert of the real We must tear down the walls of the city on the hill The system zeroes in with it's omniscient eye A hunter honing in on it's kill At least the hippies had a reprieve from the churning gears At least they could (indistinct) greed and fear Now we are pawns of the atrociously wealthy Our only reprieve xanax blackouts and fentanyl ODs (Cheering)

Something To look forward to Return to splendor An age of bloom Caught in a trap A gilded room The everpresent A past to rue Past lives on the backburner Caught between the twisted stars A vortex swirling into the dark Vendetta against the human race War on wealth and a war on taste Terra cotta replicas Copy and paste Alien Foreigner An emissary Of history Refugee A challenger Standardkeeper Of the mystery Past lives on the backburner Caught between the twisted stars A vortex swirling into the dark Vendetta against the human race War on wealth and a war on taste Terra cotta replicas Copy and paste Thoughts come unbidden Nights dark tremor Thoughts come unbidden in the nights dark tremor Steps in the sand the ties I must sever frozen in amber Thoughts come unbidden in the nights dark tremor Steps in the sand the ties I must sever frozen in amber Steps in the sand the ties I must sever

You keep on whispering in my ear Secrets I don't wanna hear A fool once told me good things last What happened then is in the past Listening to the president speak I'm watching the warheads fly Sail across the azure sky The tide retreats from the beach It doesn't matter anyway It doesn't matter anyway Finally I realize (It doesn't matter anyway) Waking life is just a lie (It doesn't matter anyway) She wears a groove into the floor Sweat collects on her brow What she wants she wants it now To be lost forever in the sound I sink down into the couch Flies around my slackjawed mouth Static clears my mind like wool For the sake of boredom nuke the world It doesn't matter anyway It doesn't matter anyway Finally I realize (It doesn't matter anyway) Waking life is just a lie (It doesn't matter anyway) Kingdoms crumble in the sand Pixels sate every demand In the bright atomic flash All things burn and nothing lasts It doesn't matter anyway It doesn't matter anyway Finally I realize (It doesn't matter anyway) Waking life is just a lie (It doesn't matter anyway) I keep thinking I keep thinking I keep thinking

Your past eclipsed By a dark star Infrared glare Of your memory Longing for something untouched Decision to self-destruct Linger on your words and deeds Trouble found me on a cold road Vestiges of dust and antimatter Rotting in each nook and cranny Crimson light on the horizon Trouble found me in haloes and hellfire We are the atoms In the world neuron The brains electric shock Brings us to life Burning down Bridges To the city Massing Murder Of crows On the rooftops No adaptation to the new normal Simulation of postmodernity The beehive reeling from colony collapse Trouble is a system deeply out of joint Terror strikes the major metropolitans Machine deploys security apparatus Citizens collateral in the ensuing carnage Trouble is the venom carried straight to the heart

Bathed in The blood of Natures Omnicide Maybe At the line Between Love and Hate Break free From your mind The cycle Of samsara Course of The slipstream In which I've Lost myself Tremble before The gates of your iniquity Partisans in The war to end all suffering Plastered to The recess Of your skull Simulation Keeps humans In thrall Chessboard Where they play Their games of Chance and doom Hallways Of power You are But a pawn Tremble before The gates of your iniquity Partisans in The war to end all suffering (Screams) Your failures Magnified Their lies Deified An oath a creed I dare defy

about

PsyOp originated from the poems and lyrics of lead vocalist Daniel K. They were written in tattered notebooks in bus stations and suboxone clinics, in the alleys between skyscrapers and the rooftops of suburban houses.

In 2019 he linked up with Henry from grind powerhouse No/Mas and multi-instrumentalist producer Dag'Nabbit, who were working on a demo track in their basement.

Dag passed the track on to Seth, an old head steeped in the punk scene. He dug it. But Seth made a demand. Before they started, K had to draw an arcane symbol in his own blood on Christmas Eve. He cut an incision on his finger, let the crimson drops fall on the page, and smeared the blood into the chosen rune.

With the blood pact complete, recording began. Seth took lead on 'Bang My Head' and 'The World Owes Me Something,' anti-anthems of decadence and decay. Henry wrote and played all instruments on 'It Doesn't Matter Anyway' and 'Trouble Will Find You,' and contributed drums and counterpart vocals to the other tracks. Dag was the primary composer on the jagged post-punk of 'Copy and Paste,' and John, also of No Mas, lent his chops to hardcore bruiser 'Before the Gates.'

Joined together by K's scouring vocals and piercing lyrics, Howl from the Void is a breathless display of alienation, paranoia, and outrage towards a self and a world skewed, fractured, and blown off course.
